In order to further improve introducing of high-level young talents, on Feb. 19, our college held the 2022 Beijing University of ChemicalTechnology College of Chemical Engineering International Forum for Outstanding Young Scholars.  Affected by the epidemic, the conference was conducted in a combination of online and offline methods. 20 young talents from MIT in the United States, Max Planck Institute in Germany, Ghent University in Belgium, National University of Singapore, Korea University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University and other universities and scientific research institutions attended the forum and gave academic reports. Members of the college team and committee attended the meeting. The forum was chaired by Qiu Jieshan, dean of the College. 

At the beginning of the conference, Qiu Jieshan, on behalf of the College, warmly welcomed the young scholars from home and abroad. He stressed the importance and urgency of building a high-level young talent team.He hoped that the heads of the departments would have the wisdom to discover high-level talents that are conducive to the development of the college, and actively do a good job in communication. Cheng Daojian added the purpose and requirements of this forum. 

At the meeting, all the domestic and international young scholars gave wonderful academic reports and expounded the work plan of coming to our school.  In view of the academic research and future career planning of each young scholar, the college committee and the speakers had a warm discussion.

      Chen Xiaochun, chairman of the college, pointed out in the summary that this forum is one of the important way for the introduction of talents, aiming to attract domestic and international outstanding young scholars to join the college and help the construction of the talent team of the college.
