Over the past three years, the number of research projects that the School has undertaken has been on steady increase, with an accumulated amount of funds at RMB 370 million. There are major or key projects under the 973 Program, the 863 Program, the National Sci-Tech Support Plan, and the National Natural Science Foundation. There is also an Innovation Research Group funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, which is so far the only one for the discipline of Chemical Engineering in China. In addition, our teachers are actively engaged in cooperative technological developments with corporations. There are over ten horizontal projects whose funding each exceeds RMB ten million, which fully demonstrate the practicability and industrial influence of our research achievements.
