The College has a team of academic leaders with innovative spirit featuring both senior academic leaders and young and middle-aged scholars. Among the more than 160 staffs of the college, there are one academician of the Academy of engineering, one double-employed academician by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), 16 high-level talents such as Changjiang Scholars Chair Professors, and the winner of the national fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 973 Program Chief Scientists, one Nationally Outstanding Teacher, four winner of Outstanding Beijing Teachers award, four Outstanding Teachers of Beijing, and sixteen New Century Talents awarded by the Ministry of Education. Of all the full-time teachers, there are more than 90 young teachers under the age of 45, more than 120 teachers with Doctoral Degrees, 70 Doctoral Supervisors, and more than 130 Full or Associate Professors.
