On September 29, 2021, the new book launch conference of "CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 102nd Edition" co-sponsored by our school and Taylor & Francis Publishing Group (hereinafter referred to as "T&F") was successfully held online. Many experts and scholars from chemical and related fields around the world attended the event, and more than 1,000 spectators also participated in the event online and in real time.
Tan Tianwei, President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Jeremy North, President of T&F Global Book Business, and Hong Yingyuan, President of T&F China, respectively, delivered warm welcoming talks on behalf of the organizers and the sponsors. Dr. John R. Rumble, the global editor-in-chief of "CRC Handbook of Chemical Physics", and Dr. Fiona MacDonald, senior publisher of T&F, were invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech.
Cheng Jinpei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with his chemical bond energy team, were invited to attend this event, who is the only Asian editor of the manual. Dr. Ji Pengju, an assistant researcher of the Center for Basic Molecular Science of Tsinghua University, as a representative of the academician Cheng team, shared with the guests and the audience the moving stories of the researchers behind the compilation of the manual. David G. Evans, distinguished professors of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Professor Lei Ming, and Professor Yu Le, shared their experience of using this manual and their latest academic research results as senior scholar representatives.

As the only Asian editorial board member of the manual, academician Cheng Jinpei of the Chinese Academy of Sciences congradualated the convening of the meeting on behave of the China Bond Energy team. Academician Cheng said that he started to get in touch with the "CRC Handbook Chemistry and Physics" more than 40 years ago and has benefited a lot. It is a great honor to lead the team to contribute to the development of the manual. AS an assistant researcher from the Center for Basic Molecular Science of Tsinghua University, Dr. Ji Pengju shared with the audience the editing and revision work that the team participated in on behalf of the China Bond Energy team.
As representatives of senior scholars and users, specially-appointed professors David G. Evans, Professor Lei Ming and Professor Yu Le from Beijing University of Chemical Technology shared the importance and use tips of "CRC Chemical Physics Handbook" in learning, teaching, scientific research and popular science word from the perspective of user experience.
At the end of the meeting, Ian Jones, vice president of T&F Asia Pacific, expressed his heartfelt thanks to all participants. He said that after hearing the sharing of many experts and scholars, it is a great honor for this manual to provide such great value for scientific research in chemical physics related fields. What is more commendable is that so many people all over the world are contributing to develop this manual.
